The Lilly Pad Leap card routine

$2.00

Two cards switch places, like frogs on lilly pads, three times under increasingly difficult conditions.

  1. The deck is cut where the spectator says and the top two cards are used, one for the magician (AC) and one for the spectator (4C). The magician’s card is inserted into the middle of the deck and the spectator’s card (4H) is set on the table. With one riffle of the deck. The cards switch places: The spectator’s card (4H) is on top of the deck and the magician’s card is now on the table (AC).
  2. The spectator’s card (4H) is placed on table, and the magician’s is placed on the deck. After a riffle the cards switch again.
  3. The spectator signs the back of her card (4H). The magician’s card is inserted into the middle of the deck. After a riffle of the deck, the spectator’s card is on top of the deck, but her signature is now on the face down card on the table which is revealed as the magician’s.

The trick can be performed with any cards that you choose.
